Interview with Emergent Church Leader Doug Pagitt

Way of the Master Radio conducted an interview (here) with Emergent Church leader Doug Pagitt of Solomon's Porch church and http://www.solomonsporch.com/. You need to fast forward about 5 minutes into the audio to get to the interview.

As with the past several generations of Christian movements "The Emergent Church" has identified hypocrisy as a major sin the church must deal with. Okay, fair enough. Yet methinks there is an even greater problem than that brewing.

If you are not familiar with the "Emergent Church" this would be an interesting and provocative place to start.

If you are orthodox in theology this interview will likely make your blood boil. Regardless of your backaground you are certain to come to the conclusion that there is a huge and extremely significant debate over what salvation means, and what words mean, among people who call themselves Christians. Hopefully this conversation is "interesting" at least to you, even though it was not interesting to Mr. Pagitt.
